Flora. This means all plants, trees and flowers,.... Here are
some examples of typical species in the territory of the reserve:
Sundew is a small plant which flowers at the beginning of summer
and grows in peat
bogs. In these damp and very poor surroundings, it cannot find
the necessary minerals for its growth and development.
Since it is a plant, it cannot move around like animals do. It
has therefore found a clever way of "catching" these nutrients.
It has long hairs, with a drop of sticky sap
at the end of them, to trap small insects on its leaves. This is
why we call sundew a carnivorous
plant.
