  Action taken under INTERREG I :

- Various studies such as those comparing the natural heritage of the two areas, the management of the valley bottoms on both sides of the border, and the establishment of a network of sites for the analysis of lichen;

- Preparation of a map and brochure presenting the Transfrontier Biosphere Reserve;

- Organisation of an exhibition and the related brochure;

- Creation of a cross-border footpath with sandstone marker posts; - Preparation of a tourist brochure;

- Progressive contact between the two management bodies and the Biosphere Reserve's various partners.

Action taken under INTERREG II :

- Monitoring the current state of the lynx (see photo),

- Organisation of cross-border local farmers' markets (see photo),

- Making use of the SIG, recording the distribution of fruit trees in the Reserve from aerial photos and topographical maps,

- Studies on the impact of tourism on urban areas, on rocks (see photo), and on the wetlands,

- Exchange visits and study trips by forestry workers, arboriculturists and members of the Sycoparc and the Verein,

- Feasibility study for a tree town;

- Extension of the joint database covering natural resources; ( LIFE Program) Interactive maps,

- Creation of a website for the Transfrontier Biosphere Reserve.
