Open milieux are more closely linked to the presence of
Man and his activities. They nevertheless are still home
to a remarkable range of flora and fauna. In fact, many
species of animal (little owls, skylarks) need these open
areas to flourish.
Given that for centuries agriculture maintained these
open areas as such, recent changes raise a real threat
to the continued existence of these species in the area.
