| This Observatory
uses a GIS (Geographical Information System) called
SIGIS whose databases cover the Reserve as a whole.
They are accurate to a scale of 1:25,000.
SIGIS is designed to serve decision-makers and
all those active in the area. Its objective is
to maintain and supply global and multi-subject
information, to assist project-finders in the
area and monitor changes there over the long term.
